Early sobriety isn’t always easy. Just because the drugs and alcohol have left your system doesn’t mean you won’t experience cravings or endure triggers. When difficult times occur, it’s helpful to have resources or a support system in place to hold you accountable and provide you with guidance. Furthermore, not everyone who leaves a PHP treatment program is ready to maintain their sobriety on their own. At the same time, some people have busy and demanding schedules with work or children to take care of, and they can’t afford a higher level of treatment. These scenarios are where outpatient treatment programs come into play.
Patients who participate in our outpatient addiction treatment program in Jeffersonville, Indiana will receive, at minimum, 9 hours a week of group therapy. Many patients will also choose to schedule one-on-one counseling sessions with their primary therapist. These programs can last for a few weeks up to several months and exist to aid people on their journey to recovery.
Outpatient treatment programs are best suited for people who don’t require intensive medical or psychiatric care and those who have a supportive home environment. Patients at our outpatient substance abuse program are highly encouraged to participate in a 12-step fellowship, live in a sober home, and fully immerse themselves in the local recovery community.
Everyone is different, which is why we believe in providing individualized treatment plans to each and every one of our clients. Being highly flexible and less regimented than IOP, our Indiana outpatient rehab program can be tailored to meet your unique lifestyle and treatment goals. Some things you can expect from outpatient treatment include:
As the least intensive level of care offered at PAX Riverbend, outpatient treatment is a great way to learn how to lean on your support group and practice the skills you learned in rehab in real-life situations.
Whether you’re looking for a flexible treatment option that will work around your schedule or have completed a higher level of care and could use some extra support, our staff is here for you. Give us a call today to learn more about our addiction treatment programs.
Partial-hospitalization (PHP) is our highest level of care. After individuals complete detox, they will move to a PHP setting where they will participate in 25 hours of intensive group therapy sessions and one hour of individual therapy each week. This level of care aims to help people uncover and heal from the root causes of their addictions.Read More
After completing our PHP program at PAX Riverbend we recommend that patients move down into a lower level of care. During IOP or outpatient rehab, patients will receive between 9-15 hours of clinical care from our licensed therapists. This continued care helps patients stay on the right track in sobriety.Read More
Many people who suffer from drug or alcohol addiction can benefit from medication-assisted treatment (MAT). If you qualify for MAT, you will take FDA-approved medications while participating in a comprehensive treatment program so you can reach a place where you can maintain sobriety on your own.Read More
